JESSICA FRANKOPAN

Green & Spring was established by Jessica Frankopan, who alongside her husband Peter Frankopan, are the founders of A Curious Group of Hotels –including the world famous L’Hôtel on Paris’ Rive Gauche, the sumptuous Canal House in Amsterdam, the fabulous Portobello Hotel in London. They were the creators of Cowley Manor and its C-Side Spa, where our story began.

'I love the creative process and know that attention to detail is the key to making something work,,' says Jessica. ‘It was really  important to us to have our own range of products in our spa and in the bedrooms that drew on best of the British countryside, reflected our concern for the environment and were tailor-made for out hotels – and our guests.’

It was of paramount concern to Jessica that skincare should be both natural and nourishing. Jessica set out to develop a new, natural bath, body and skincare range which utilises the abundance of naturally efficacious herbs and flowers native to the British Isles, and perfectly suited for the hospitality industry.

‘It is very important to me to use ingredients from the British countryside which are hand blended in the West Country; I often go down to take a look at the mixing process. We see Green & Spring as a flagship British brand – and it's wonderful how loyal our followers are.'

In due course that led to developing Green & Spring as a natural brand with multiple bath, body and skincare lines. It has now relaunched with 3 ranges of local, natural and sustainable products. ‘it has turned into a much bigger business than I'd imagined at the start’, said Jessica. ‘But then, again, so have the hotels.'
